Even Though Christmas is Three Months Away      She stood there on the stoop looking pert and in good posture. Her shiny white patent leather Mary-Jane's gleamed in the reflection of the polished glass door. Behind the glass was a second cherry-red door, newly painted with a tiny round peephole much higher than the top of her head. She smoothed the front of her dress with her tiny right palm, just before reaching her index finger to press the small black button that would chime "Fur-Elise". In her left hand she held a little catalogue of various gift wrap, chocolates and candles, with a pink glitter-pen clipping an order form to the cover.
